Taco soup
350 g lean beef mince
1 large onion, chopped
2 tins chopped tomatoes
1-2 tbsp chopped jalapenos (optional)
800 ml beef broth
2 tsp cumin
1 tsp marjoram
4 garlic cloves, pressed or grated
1 tbsp vinegar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
70 g tomato paste (small can)
1 can kidney beans, drained
To serve:
Sour cream
Tortilla chips
Grated cheese
Brown the beef, onion, and garlic in a pan.
Add the tomatoes, broth, and spices. Let simmer on low heat for 15 minutes.
Finally, add the beans and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Serve with tortilla chips, grated cheese, and sour cream in each bowl.
