400 g chicken or turkey mince

1 tbsp oil for frying

Pinch of salt and pepper

2 cm piece of fresh ginger, grated

2 garlic cloves, grated

2 tsp finely grated red onion

2 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp chicken broth

4 hamburger buns (preferably without sesame)

In a bowl, mix together the chicken broth, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and red onion. Set the soy mixture aside.

Shape the minced chicken into 4 patties and season with salt and pepper

Fry the patties in oil until fully cooked through.

Once the burgers are cooked, add the soy mixture to the pan and cook until the sauce thickens. Flip the burgers a few times to coat them in the sauce.

Serve with fresh vegetables such as cucumber, red bell pepper, iceberg lettuce, and red onion. No additional sauce is needed as the pan sauce is perfect for these burgers.
