Toad in the hole

1 package of chicken sausages

1 onion

60 g flour

2 tsp baking powder

100 ml milk

5 large eggs

Pinch of rosemary (optional)

2 tsp sage

Start by roasting the chicken sausages in a preheated oven at 200°C (390°F) for 5 minutes.

Add the sliced onion and continue roasting for an additional 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, prepare the batter using the remaining ingredients (flour, baking powder, milk, eggs, rosemary, and sage).

Pour the batter over the sausages and onions, then bake for 25 minutes or until the batter is golden brown.

Serving Suggestion: Serve with mashed potatoes, steamed green beans, and brown gravy.
