Simple Caramel

3 dl sugar

3 dl syrup

3 dl cream

Put all ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil for 25-30 minutes, stirring regularly.

Test the caramel by dipping a spoon into the mixture and then into a glass of cold water.

If you can roll the caramel into a ball after it has cooled, it is ready.

Pour the caramel into a parchment-lined mold and let it cool.

It can also be helpful to spray a little oil on the paper to make it easier to release the caramel
