Pizza Pinwheels
850 g flour
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
3 tsp dry yeast
500 ml milk
150 ml cooking oil
A pinch of oregano and thyme
Filling:
Pizza sauce
100-200 g grated cheese
Start by dissolving the sugar and dry yeast in the lukewarm milk. Let it sit for 10 minutes
Add the oil followed by the flour, salt, oregano, and thyme.
Knead the dough and let it rise for about 1 hour.
Roll out the dough and spread the pizza sauce evenly over it. Sprinkle the grated cheese on top.
Roll the dough into a log and cut it into appropriately thick slices. It doesn't hurt to sprinkle a bit of cheese on top of the rolls once they are placed on the baking tray.
Arrange the rolls on a baking sheet and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
Bake at 200°C for 15 minutes.
