Pizza Dough
I have tried many recipes for pizza dough over the years and can confidently say that this one works well.
I make 2 large pizzas from this batch or 4 thin-crust individual pizzas:
1.5 tsp dry yeast
240 ml warm water
1.5 tbsp oil
1 tsp salt
400 g flour
Dissolve the dry yeast in the warm water and let it sit for 10 minutes before adding the flour, oil, and salt. Knead the dough well and let it rise until it has doubled in size (30-40 minutes).
Divide the dough in half, roll out the bases with a rolling pin (or by hand for the more experienced). Add pizza sauce, cheese, and other toppings to your taste. Bake at 200°C until the edges are golden brown.
