500 g flour

3 tsp yeast

1/4 tsp salt

2 tsp sugar

300 ml milk

30 g butter

Egg or milk for brushing

A pinch of coarse salt for sprinkling on top

Heat the milk and butter together until warm (not hot).

Dissolve the sugar and dry yeast in the lukewarm milk and butter mixture. Let it sit for 10 minutes.

Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl and stir yeast mixture into the dry ingredients.

Leave dough to proof for 30-40 minutes.

Shape the dough into 8 small loaves and place them on a baking sheet. Cut a few slits into each loaf, brush with egg or milk, and sprinkle a little coarse salt on top.

Allow the rolls to rise slightly on the tray before baking.

Bake at approximately 220°C for about 8-10 minutes.
