Orange Ice Cream
3 oranges
150 g powdered sugar
1 small can of lemon yogurt (115 g)
150 ml whipped cream
2-3 tbsp orange liqueur (optional)
Juice of one lemon
Cut the tops off the oranges and scoop out the flesh. Blend the orange juice and flesh together with the lemon juice, then strain the mixture through a sieve.
Freeze the empty orange peels along with the tops. Mix the sugar with the orange juice, and finally fold in the whipped cream. The easiest way to make the ice mixture light and airy is to use an ice cream maker and then fill the oranges with the ice cream.
If you don’t have an ice cream maker at home, you can pour the mixture into a container and place it in the freezer, stirring the ice cream every 30-60 minutes until the desired texture is achieved. This process can take about 4 hours.
