Orange Cake
125 g flour
100 g sugar
1 egg
2 tbsp freshly squeezed orange juice
Grated zest of one orange
100 g soft margarine
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
Cream together the margarine and sugar.
Add the egg while mixing the batter.
Gently fold in the dry ingredients with a spatula.
Bake at 180°C for 30 minutes.
Allow the cake to cool before frosting.
Frosting:
2 dl powdered sugar (100 g)
1-3 tbsp orange juice
30-40 g soft margarine
A little grated orange zest
Thin orange slices for decoration
Mix the powdered sugar with orange juice, margarine, and grated orange zest to create the frosting.
Spread it over the cooled cake and decorate with orange slices.
