Maroccan Burger
250 g ground beef or lamb
8 dried apricots, chopped
1/4 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp paprika
1/8 tsp cinnamon
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 small onion, finely chopped
Zest of 1 lemon
Sauce:
Sour cream
A little lemon zest
Lemon juice
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef or lamb, chopped dried apricots, cumin, paprika, cinnamon, minced garlic, chopped onion, and lemon zest. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
Form the mixture into 4 patties.
Cook the patties on a grill or in a skillet until they are fully cooked through.
For the sauce, mix sour cream with a little lemon zest and lemon juice to taste.
Serve the burgers with cabbage, red onion, and tomato, drizzled with the prepared sauce.
