Marinara

2 tins diced tomatoes

170 g tomato paste

4 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

1 large clove garlic

1 tsp oregano

1 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1-2 tbsp olive oil

1/3 cup finely chopped onion

1/2 cup white wine

Blend the tomatoes, paste, parsley, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper together until smooth.

Sauté the onion in olive oil, then add the white wine to the pan and let it simmer for 1-2 minutes.

Add the tomato mixture to the pan and let it simmer over low heat for 40 minutes.

This sauce is great with pasta or as a meat sauce for bolognese.
