Maple Roasted Slowcooker nuts
This recipe is so simple yet so good...
250 g roasted cashews
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp maple syrup
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Start by melting the butter in the slow cooker pot (this takes a few minutes) and mix in the syrup along with the vanilla extract. Stir in the cashews and cover the pot. Cook on low for one hour, stirring the nuts occasionally. Cook for an additional hour.
These are fantastic over salad or ice cream. They store best in an airtight container.
