Ham and asparagus bake

1 slice of sandwich bread

1 can of green asparagus (reserve the liquid)

1 packet of ham pieces

1 red pepper, finely chopped

100 g mayonnaise

100 g grated cheese

2 eggs

Remove the crust from the sandwich bread and tear the bread into small pieces in a bowl.

Drain the tinned asparagus, but keep the liquid.

Add the ham pieces, 1/2 dl (50 ml) of the reserved asparagus liquid, the asparagus spears, chopped pepper, mayonnaise, and eggs to the bowl with the bread.

Mix everything well using a spoon, and then add 100 g of grated cheese to the mixture.

Transfer the mixture to an oven-safe dish and sprinkle the remaining 50 g of cheese on top. For added flavor, you can sprinkle some all-purpose seasoning over the top.

Preheat the oven to 200°C and bake for 30 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
