Golden Pork Chops
3-4 boneless pork chops
1 egg
4 tbsp Panko breadcrumbs
20 g crushed cornflakes
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt
Pepper to taste
A pinch of chili powder
Trim the pork chops as needed and beat the egg in a bowl. Season the chops with salt and pepper.
In another bowl, mix the Panko breadcrumbs, crushed cornflakes, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and a pinch of chili powder.
Dip each pork chop into the beaten egg, then coat thoroughly in the breadcrumb mixture.
Place the coated chops on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 220°C for about 20 minutes or until golden and cooked through.
Simple Potato Salad:
Boiled potatoes, cut into chunks
Sour cream
Coarse grain mustard
Sliced green onions
Salt and pepper to taste
Boil the potatoes until tender and cut them into chunks.
In a bowl, combine the sour cream with a good amount of coarse grain mustard. Add the boiled potatoes and sliced green onions.
Season the potato salad with salt and pepper to taste.
It’s nice to serve the potato salad warm, but it’s also perfectly fine if the potatoes are cold.
