Gluhwein
1 bottle red wine
500 ml apple cider
4 tbsp honey
1 orange, juiced and zested
1 whole star anise
5 cloves
4 cardamom pods
2 cinnamon sticks
4 tbsp brandy
For Garnish:
Orange slices
Cinnamon sticks
In a slow cooker, combine the red wine, apple cider, honey, brandy, orange juice, orange zest, and all the spices.
Allow the mixture to simmer on low for 1.5 to 2 hours.
Serve warm, garnished with orange slices and cinnamon sticks.
