French dog
1 1/2 dl warm water
1 1/2 tsp dry yeast
1/4 tsp sugar
1/8 tsp salt
1 tbsp oil
3 1/2 dl flour (220 g)
3-4 sausages
Milk for brushing
Sesame seeds
Preheat the oven to 100°C with the fan setting.
In a bowl, combine the warm water, dry yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until the yeast becomes frothy.
Add the flour, salt, and oil to the yeast mixture.
Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth.
Divide the dough into 3-4 equal parts.
Roll each piece of dough out with a rolling pin to form a rectangle.
Place a sausage in the center and wrap the dough around it, sealing the edges.
Place the wrapped sausages on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Brush the tops with milk and sprinkle sesame seeds over them.
Let the dough rise in the preheated oven at 100°C for 5-10 minutes.
Increase the oven temperature to 200°C and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown.
