Flour Tortillas

6 ½ dl flour

½ tsp baking powder

¼ tsp salt

3 tbsp oil

2 dl warm water

Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl and knead first with a spoon and then with your hands until the dough becomes smooth and elastic.

Divide the dough into two parts and then divide each part into three, so you have six equally sized pieces. Roll out into round tortillas.

Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Bake the flour tortillas for 45 seconds to one minute on each side or until bubbles start to form.

Place the cakes on a clean kitchen towel and cover them well so they don’t harden.

Store in an airtight plastic bag if not using immediately.
