Dijon Burgers
(1)

Hamburger Patties:

12 Jacobs Cream Crackers (crushed)

8 sprigs parsley (finely chopped)

2 heaped tsp Dijon mustard

500 g ground beef

1 large egg

Salt and pepper

1 tsp olive oil

6 hamburger buns

Cheese slices (one per burger)

Toppings:

Romaine or butterhead lettuce

Tomatoes

Red onion (sliced)

Pickles

Ketchup and Dijon mustard

Instructions:

Crush the cream crackers into fine crumbs and place them in a bowl.

Finely chop the parsley with its stems and add to the bowl with the crackers.

Add Dijon mustard, ground beef, egg, salt, and pepper to the mixture. Combine everything well until it forms a cohesive mixture.

Divide the mixture into 6 equal parts and shape them into burger patties.

Drizzle a bit of olive oil over the patties and refrigerate them for a while to firm up before cooking.

Heat a pan over medium heat or preheat the grill.

Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes on each side until nicely browned and cooked through.

After flipping the patties, place a slice of cheese on top of each patty and let it melt.

Lightly toast the hamburger buns on a pan or in the oven.

Slice the tomatoes and red onion, and get the lettuce leaves and pickles ready.
