Crinkle Cookies
130 g all-purpose flour
50 g cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
60 g margarine (or butter)
100 g granulated sugar
100 g brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
In a bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
In another bowl, cream together the margarine, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and mix until incorporated.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until combined. Chill the dough for at least one hour.
Preheat your oven to 175°C.
Take a small scoop of dough (about the size of a tablespoon) and roll it into a ball.
Roll each ball in powdered sugar until fully coated and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 10 minutes. The cookies will be soft when they come out of the oven but will firm up as they cool.
