Cinnamon Biscuits
4 dl flour (220 g)
2 dl sugar (170 g)
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking soda
170 g margarine
1/8 tsp ground cardamom
2 heaping tbsp applesauce or a small egg
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp baking syrup
Combine all the dry ingredients and then rub the margarine into the mixture.
Create a well in the center of the dough and pour in the wet ingredients. Knead well.
Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for at least an hour before working with it.
Roll into balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake the cookies at 190°C for 8-10 minutes or until they have a beautiful golden color.
