BBQ dry rub

BBQ dry rub
(1)

This spice rub is perfect for baby back ribs cooked in a smoker.

If the plan is to use the rub on food cooked on high heat (BBQ or Air fryer) is better to leave the sugar out to prevent the rub from burning.

Cooking baby back ribs in a smoker takes 6-8 hours on low heat. Spray ribs with apple juice while cooking.

2 Tbsp salt

1/4 cup sugar

1/4 cup brown sugar

2 Tbsp ground black pepper

2 Tbsp ground white pepper

2 Tbsp onion powder

1 Tbsp garlic powder

1/4 cup paprika

1/2 tsp chili

1 Tbsp ground cumin

Mix all ingredients and keep in airtight container.
